Friends! Please join us this Tuesday evening for our monthly Slow Reading Dinner, around UPB's Great Table (or in our garden patio, weather permitting). This is a wonderful evening of good food, fine wine, surprising words, and new friends.
We ask that everyone bring a poem, a treasured paragraph, or any combination of words that you love—words that must be read carefully, and savored slowly..
The menu, prepared by chef Erick Balbuena, reflects the abundance of our local farms and gardens, and the rich flavors of the season..
The event is hosted by Bill McClung, Martin Holden, and Phyllis Shaefer..
$45 per person, wine, tax, and gratuity included ($20 for students and starving artists)..
Slow Reading Dinners take place every third Tuesday of the month from 6-8pm..
