Galen Hefferman and Mia Kaneen

An afternoon of music, tea, and love poems to the Earth
Among the books and in the Garden at UPB/Berkeley

Songs gathered from visions and dreams in the pursuit of a life in right relationship. Galen Hefferman will be joining us from Portland while on a tour of the West Coast. His poetic lyrics, heart-wrenching voice, and beautiful instrumentation guide the listeners through the timelessness of song and beauty.

Mia Kaneen will also share melodies of her own creation that speak with honesty and the voices of her ancestors to share some of the messages of our times.

Please sit beside us, get cozy, and let your ears drink in heart-filling melody.

What they undertook to do
They brought to pass;
All things hang like a drop of dew
Upon a blade of grass.
W. B. Yeats
